dacoso and ADVA Optical Networking push Virtualization Solutions

ADVA Ensemble Harmony Ecosystem Partner Certificate Presented

dacoso, an IT service provider headquartered in Langen, Germany, and ADVA Optical Networking, a provider of fiber optic transmission technology headquartered in Martinsried near Munich, Germany, have deepened their long-standing close cooperation with another official partnership: dacoso now acts as official partner for the Ensemble Harmony Ecosystem of ADVA. Behind this is a network virtualization solution that radically simplifies the deployment and operation of network applications. With this product cooperation, the two partner companies are responding to the growing demand for automation and the ability to control networks much more dynamically.

By virtualizing network functions (NFV), Ensemble converts large portions of network equipment (hardware) into software solutions. The centralized management of these solutions makes it much easier for network managers to maintain and service, install new versions, add applications, and comply with compliance policies.

"The efficiency and cost savings that we can achieve with virtualization are convincing more and more companies," explains Thomas Joswig, owner and CEO of dacoso. "As an official Ensemble partner, we are well-equipped to help our customers take the path to the network management of the future." dacoso integrates the Ensemble solution into its Virtual Networking product area, which is the third core segment of the IT service provider alongside Connectivity and Cyber Defence.

The partner certificate was handed over at the dacoso branch in Unterföhring near Munich. Brian Protiva, CEO of ADVA Optical Networking, personally handed over the document. "We have been working successfully with dacoso in the connectivity sector for more than 10 years", says Protiva. "We are delighted that we are now further expanding this partnership and jointly addressing the exciting topic of virtualization. We rely on the technical competence and the special service strength of the dacoso team as usual".
