In most cases the operable areas cannot be simply shut down, but ways have to be found to localize and eliminate the problems while the system is up and running. Localizing and resolving such problems is complex and difficult to perform in the course of day-to-day business.
Our Solutions
dacoso offers Fibre Channel Protocol Analysis with testers (dacoso dEGboxes) it has developed for the purpose. They enable generation and analysis of FC data with up to 2x8Gb/s. The data streams are measured and analyzed using an interconnected 8Gb/s FC Protocol Analyzer from Finisar. The dacoso dEGboxes allow long-term inspection of the network components in a storage area network, without having to use the customer’s terminal equipment for the purpose. Analysis of the data enables problem location and corrective support. Due to the independence from the terminal equipment, any sporadic protocol errors can likewise be visualized and then subjected to further analysis.
