The demand for new services in the consumer market as well as the business customer market, such as IPTV, video-on-demand, high definition TV (HDTV), 3D-TV and data growth in wireless networks, is accompanied by an increasing demand for more data capacity. Conventional TDM-based infrastructures are not optimized for the current growth and do not support multi-service requirements. This also applies to necessary functions such as overbooking and aggregated transfer for rationalising networks and cutting cost.

Our Solution
The ADVA FSP 3000 metro core solution offered by dacoso consists of a flexible WDM product range and supports an array of Ethernet, TDM and SAN network interfaces. The product family contains reconfigurable optical add-drop multiflexers and layer 2 ADM-on-a-blade and supports scalable packet aggregation and Carrier Ethernet Transport.
